Kerry can often be found sketching concepts on napkins or note cards as he tries to dial in his thoughts and share them. He claims that his best work happens in java-infused creative sessions, when he’s divinely disturbed in the middle of the night or when he’s "in the zone" clearing some serious technical obstacles in the woods on his mountain bike.
He recently served as V.P. for Public Relations and Marketing at ERLC having also served as PR Director for Southeastern Seminary and PR Coordinator for Criswell College. He was also a Visual Coordinator in the Dallas corporate headquarters of Neiman Marcus in their Visual Planning & Presentation division. For ten years while in Dallas, he was president of The Protégé Group Inc., a marketing and design firm.
His 25+ years in ministry and business have been devoted to brand development. He’s passionate about helping organizations translate their vision and mission into communication that resonates with their constituents through branding, strategic thinking, marketing, public relations and visual presentation.
He has a B.S. in Education concentrating on design and technology from Northeastern State University and a M.A. in Theology and History from Criswell College.
Kerry, and his wife, Deborah, reside in Tennessee with their three beautiful children.
As Resonate’s client services and project manager, Rachel Large is in the business of getting things done.
While she eats, sleeps, and breathes strategic and creative brand building, Rachel works best when she can passionately pour her talents into a world-rocking ministry.
Pre-Resonate, Rachel served as Director of Volunteer Recruitment with home repair ministry Appalachia Service Project. There she helped increase the organization's volunteer base by implementing their first-ever marketing plan — designed to strategically invite new groups into this life-changing experience.
Rachel’s career began in the advertising and PR agency world, where she learned the basics of all things branding.
She lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee with her husband Andy and pups Chloe and Darcy, who all agree that she is a computer geek with a severe coffee addiction, an appreciation for a good laugh, and a little sass thrown in for good measure.
Your leaders must have a true heart for ministry; but they must also develop their professional skills to connect with those involved in your ministry. And Kayla gets that core truth. She is a connector and practitioner in today's marketplace who finds ways to help ministry teams move to the next level in their professional and personal development. Her industry experience spans 20+ years in both the corporate and non-profit sectors where she has worn hats such as Director of Organizational Strategy, Director of Human Resources and Director of Staff Development. Kayla's experience allows her to walk alongside your ministry to identify your team's development needs and then help you discover a hands-on approach that advances your ministry's vision.
Kaylan is wired to tell stories of spiritual life change, deliver copy that spurs people to action, and draw readers into the things of God. She has a B.A. in Mass Comm (2002) and a M.A. in Communications (2005). Over the years, she's written for national publications and ministries. Since 2007, she's served as an Editorial Manager for her local church near Nashville, Tennessee. When this native Texan isn't in front of her computer screen, she's out investing in relationships, listening to good music, and traveling the world.
